Welcome to Stonewall Communities

Gay men and lesbians have always set their own course, creating their own lives and finding new ways live life to the fullest. Just as we were ‘different’ young people, we will be ‘different’ as we create new possibilities for the rest of our lives.

We created Stonewall Communities, a non-profit organization, to better understand and advocate for the needs of older lesbians, gay men, and their friends. We strive to support and enhance the well-being and independence of gay men and lesbians in their choice to age at home or in a Stonewall community. We are committed to creating community among older lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgenders by creating residential, educational, social and supportive opportunities.

This web site was created to connect you to news, events, information, services…and to each other. Whether or not you live in or near a Stonewall community, we hope you will take advantage of everything we have to offer and visit this web site often!
